Trust can be so delicate 
Like a flower you gently hold 
Not something to be crumbled 
Or something you can unfold 

Its something you give willingly 
Without even a second thought
It can even be taken advantage of
And leave you completely distraught 

I have made such a disaster 
Of our once special connection
Something ill always have to live with
While living through your defection 

Even tho we both tried 
to put the past aside
I brought all of these new fears 
That we just can't let coincide 

We both wanted us
To get though this awful mess
This pain I have caused 
Left nothing but distress 

Your trust has been destroyed 
And for that I am only left to blame 
It painfully kills my soul 
Knowing we will never be the same 

I'm not writing you this 
To clear my once guilty shame
I am simply just expressing 
How Ill forever be in this pain

My actions do have consequences 
And that is what I've come to see
But always know dispite it all
It will always be you and me 

Rather our marriage keeps going
Or we decide to leave it all behind
My heart will forever be missing
That little piece only you could defined
