As time goes on blue eyes fade to grey. As time goes on there are less words to say. White melts to yellow and things that are mellow grow bored. Unable to swim, yet the time still grows short. In the sky so high and all you see is flat Earth, warm sun yet ice is on the window. Sinking low under the water the sun still burns. Outside the door the world still churns. Water is flooding cities but mine is stagnant. It breaks up in pieces but I won't keep a fragment. She smells like roses but her mouth is full of decay. I wake up in water and drown in words I don't say. Left with the ocean the sun moves my tide because the moon has fled and left it all behind. It's not a rainy day but they say I should pray. I don't because I know now the price she had to pay.
