Firstly I'd like to wish all earthlings 
A happy, happy New Year!!!
From the birds of the sky,
To the fish of the sea,
To all God's creatures out there,
And to you my friend,
the one who's reading this,
Happy New Year.

In this new year I'd like to step out of my shell.
I'd love for people to see the real me,
And not the ideal me.
I'd love for people to realise that being yourself is never a problem,
That it's okay if those who don't love you for who you are leave,
Because those who love the real you will always be there.

In this new year I'd like to step out of my comfort zone,
I'd like to do all that I can in order to achieve my goals,
I'd love to make my family proud,
I'd like for them to be proud that they didn't raise a loser,
Rather they raised a bold young woman,
That they raised a successful feminist.

In this new year I'd like to tell the world about how grateful I am for all that my family does for me,
I'd like to let my friends know how much I love them,
I'd also like to let God know how grateful I am for bringing them into my life.
