In 1992, Alanna Morrison endured an endless battle of trials and misfortunes after her parents were in a car accident. She struggled to difficult situations and tried her hardest to understand those situations; she never could. Then she met people along the way and tried to understand them as well; but couldn't understand those people neither. That's when Alanna come to realize that she would never be able to understand why things unfolded in life the way they did.

As time marched forward, she became desperate and seeked someone's support; but didn't find any at all. She immensely needed an anchor admist to survive the inevitably, unpredictable nature of life; there was no anchor. Then she began to drown in the ocean, shouting out for someone  to help but no one could hear her cry, because they were all too busy living their lives without her.

She gave up! She gave up on people; she gave up on faith; then she gave up her herself. Going forward, Alanna went on living without feeling anything at all and fell into a deep state of numbness and indifference. Then, one day she looked at herself in the mirror, not knowing who she was anymore; becoming a stranger to herself. That would be the last time she'd  ever see the day of light ever again because, she had taken her own life; leaving all the hurt and despair behind and in the past.
