Stagnant, unmoving, and sedentary.

The mind constantly outruns the body.

A disconnect between brain and organs,

A will that falls short of ambitions.

The man in the mirror does not lie,

The truth he shows, I cannot hide.

I stare in disdain at the man in the glass.

Remembering a version from a long time passed.

A solemn glance at bigger gut,

And I know I must get out of this rut.
