There are fewer days ahead
Then there are behind.
Keenly aware of its passing,
I know I'm losing time.
Time will wait for no man,
Like a rivers constant flow.
It only gives opportunity
To learn and to grow.
I am held to this reminder,
As my days keep ticking away,
Life is what you make it,
But none of us can stay.
