I awaken at breaking dawn,
It's very early but it's a time I adorn, 
Where everything is quiet and I can think, 
Whilst a cup of tea I do drink, 
Of the things in life I treasure most, 
My family, my man, this life I chose, 
The abundance of life I'm yet to live, 
The water I drink and the friends who do give, 
Me time with them filled with laughter and love, 
The peace I have and the stars up above, 
This moment in time where these words I do share, 
That I hope others can reflect on and do see I do care.
