Onece they arived Zenix and the others were stand there lookin worried and nervous at the same time. Expecially malachi. "Guys what in the world happened to you two" they all said together. They took Alina and gene inside and started figuring out a plan to heal them both. "Well...to heal them both thres two ways...ones very difficult but the other means one of them dies..." Said malachi. "What's the dangerous one malachi me and Cosma will help!" Asked Zenix. "Well that one means going and getting the mountains relic...and if we can do that they both live...the other is to use the demon warlocks book...Which means one will die and go to the pitch  relm to get turned into a full blooded demon...and if anyone would survive the torture you go through it would be gene...I mean he is the demon warlocks son." Replied Malachi. "Just use the book then" whispered gene. "I see it on Alina you three leave me to go.."
"No gene that's not happening we are going to save you both" Shouted Zenix slamming his fists down on the table. "Just listen to him Zenix...Gene has gone through the torture Onece before and with his life ahead of him i doubt they will hurt him that badly anyway" Cosma said to him. "OK fine then just done leave us alone gene we will miss you bud...especially Alina....you don't have to do this you know..."Said Zenix. "Yeah I know but if it will save her I'll do it...I'm gonna die if not anyway. The books not strong enough to save me. The power in it can only save Alina..." replied gene. "OK then...get ready gene..."Said malachi.  "Ready" replied gene. As malachi placed the book on top of Alina gene's lamest came back and he disappeared causing smoke to go everywhere. A few seconds later Alina woke up with a shocked and started coughing. "What happened to gene where did he go!?" Shouted Alina. From that moment silence fell across the room. " No way...he did it didn't he..." still silent in the room she ran out heading towards the spot where the waterfall is. Malachi started chasing after her but he was too slow he couldn't catch up and soon enough she was out of sight. When she arrived she had a flashback of when they first met. She was walking in the woods when she came across a boy with short brown hair sittig by a waterfall throwing bread in the water. She asked if he was ok but he didn't answer in fact he just ran over to the bushes and hid but she grabbed his hand and yanked him out. "WHOA what was that for. Wait...you're a witch...aren't you?" The boy asked. "Yeah my names Alina and yep I'm a witch well one in training at least. What's your name" she asked. "My names gene" Said the boy. "Cool name gene...oh yeah that reminds me...why are you out her by yourself gene?" She asked. "I ran away from home...but you don't want to know about that..." Gene replied. "So you're ten right...don't be shocked I know that I'm a with I can tell these things." She said. "Don't worry I'm not surprised I'm a warlock so I know how old you are aswell...you're ten too." He replied. "Haha well then...wanna be friends?" Alina asked. "Yeah sure!" Gene replied. Then she woke up and there sittig next to her was malachi shaking her trying to wake her up. She began to cry. "Alina cmon don't cry...it's not like you to cry...it's know he meant a lot to you and you two had secrets I don't even know and I'm your brother...but still..." Said malachi. "I can't help it...I miss him already..." she cried even harder causing her to lean up again a rock so she could sit up. "Cmon now...Gene wouldn't want you to cry would he he hated seeing you cry..."malachi told Alina this. "You're right...he wouldn't want that...everytime I cried he always panicked and made me laugh" She began to laugh a little after this. "Haha that's the smile we want...now come on wed need to get you back to rest..." malachi carried her on his back the whole was back to her tower. That night she had woken up at midnight on the dot. She heard tapping coming from outside her window. "Huh...what's that?" She asked herself. She looked outside the window and there standing up against a tree was Genes old staff. She ran outside and pocked it up. It had something carved into it saying 'don't forget me keep this and I'll always be with you -gene-' so she ran back inside and put not next to her bed. The next day she woke up to a shock. Malachi was sitting next to her bed staring right at her. "Where we're you!?" He shouted. "Um...here...in my bed..." she replied. "No you weren't when I came up this morning you weren't here. "I fell asleep last night and went to a different dimension maybe that happens to witches you know" she replied. "OK fine at least you didn't sneak out or something again like you used to to go see...him..." whispered malachi. Malachi looked next to her bed and saw the staff a few moments later he ran out of y he room. "Oh yeah I forgot... I've gotta fix his book...maybe even make it so that it doesn't harm him anymore...I have the spell to do that..." So since then she's been working on put in the demon warlocks book back together. Suddenly the book slammed itself and there was a knock on the door. "Coming!" She put the book on a shelf for safe keeping. When she opened the door there was no one there so she thought it must've been the wind slamming the door or something. When she turned around there was a figure saying something she couldn't understand. Just then she remembered the fight with the demon warlock 'what's he saying I can't understand a word he's saying' it was him. "What are you doing here you monster!? You killed him!" She shouted. The demon warlock threw her to the floor and picked her up by the throat. Suddenly malachi came charging in and wasn't thrown across the room by him aswell. "Now little lady...what happened to you...you look different...oh have you been crying..." 
"Leave...me...alone..." she said struggling to speak. The demon warlock dropped her after she spoke dropping her to the floor. She gasped for breath trying to reach for gene's old staff.  When she did grab it it glowed as blue as gene's flames. It blasted a blue ball of flames at the demon warlock wounding him enough to make him leave. "What was that" Suddenly the carved writig changed. It now said 'I will help you until the end -gene-' "how...oh yeah malachi are you ok!?" 
"I'm fine don't worry...you?" 
"I'm fine gene helped me..."
"I saw...that was crazy his soul must have been connected to it"
"Yeah well anyway...I want to go to Genes shack...there's something I've got to do..."
"OK then...let's go..." three hours later they met up with zenix and Cosma so they could start heading towards his shack. When they got there Alina drew a picture of the waterfall with chalk in the middle of his floor. They all sat around it and held hands. They had to all say a memory they have of gene. Zenix said "he helped me and Cosma when we were lost in the woods" Cosma said "he pushed me in the sea during smear last year" malachi said "he helped me with Alina" and lastly Alina said "he sacrificed his life for me" and Suddenly there was a  bright blue Light and a red Light chasing eachother making a blue and Red flame. Alina started to cry. Only she knew what they were doing. After the flames disappeared she said this and left the other there alone "he will come back...I can feel it..."

Two days later

She was polishing gene's staff when she noticed the writing had gone abck to normal. "I still don't get it gene..why did you leave me all alone..." she began to cry and knelt next to her bed and sobbed for hours. Next thing she knew she was outside with he demon warlocks book in her hands. "Huh" Suddenly she dropped the book and it opened. It showed some sort or moving picture of gene looking up and calling her name telling her that he will be alright. He wasn't going to be he was in a torture chamber with hand cuts on gritting his teeth because of the pain. "Don't worry about me ill be ok just try not to break the book and I won't be able to see you anymore ok...I'll see you again soon...promise." 
"OK gene..
I belive you..." So she ran back to malachi's house and showed him the message. "Crazy right I'm so worried about him but I'm happy I get to see him....even if he is all chained up in a torture chamber. She started to cry (end) 《definitely doing another chapter later today.
