If I wrote a poem, about everything I feel,
I don't think you'd like it, it would all be too real.
I would take all the thoughts that I've written,
Add in a dose of pure fiction
Twist them into a melodic rhyme,
Quietly and gently teasing the mind.
Emotions expressed, you will feel deeply,
Remembering lines even when you're sleeping.
And that's the point of my poetic works,
Shining a light on the deepest hurt.
Then someday you won't feel so lonesome,
But only if I write the poem.
