Crumbled Read Count : 134

The voices creep in as the fences I mend begin to crumble to the floor.
I try not to listen as hard as I may but they are banging loudly at my door.
Day turns to night as I'm left with no light and don't know what to do anymore.
I reach to the right in hope that I might finally settle this score.
But fight as I may the pieces they lay and leave but a crumbled mess of what I was once before.
