Oceans vary far and wide
And one thing is the same
No matter where on earth they flow
A never- ending tide

The tide is their strong heartbeat
Keeping them alive
Their heart has beat for ions
The reason they survive

The danger in their beauty
A warning we must heed
They possess a nasty riptide
With power and with speed

The comparison for humans
Is very plain to see
Getting caught in their ferocity
Can danger you and me

The danger is like severe threats
We encounter through the years
When you’re warned these threats are coming
Change course to avoid the fears

Our lives just lies the oceans
Gives us health and food and pleasure
To get caught up in those tentacles
Could end our earthly treasure

If basic caution’s taken
To always look ahead
Then distater is forsaken
We’ve avoided fear and dread
