Oceans vary far and wideAnd one thing is the sameNo matter where on earth they flowA never- ending tideThe tide is their strong heartbeatKeeping them aliveTheir heart has beat for ionsThe reason they surviveThe danger in their beautyA warning we must heedThey possess a nasty riptideWith power and with speedThe comparison for humansIs very plain to seeGetting caught in their ferocityCan danger you and meThe danger is like severe threatsWe encounter through the yearsWhen you’re warned these threats are comingChange course to avoid the fearsOur lives just lies the oceansGives us health and food and pleasureTo get caught up in those tentaclesCould end our earthly treasureIf basic caution’s takenTo always look aheadThen distater is forsakenWe’ve avoided fear and dread
