Its now been 5 years since God brought you home, but I still feel paralyzed in the time you left us alone.I will never understand why this had to happened to you. You're now missing out on everything exciting and brand new, but I wont let you down as I am going to keep your memories alive in the minds of your grandchildren, the ones you left behind.Their bright, adoring faces will never wonder about who you once were because they will hear about what an amazing woman you were, strong and fierce like no other before. They will hear about the compassion that you always had for others because that's one thing Ill always remember to smile about when you're brought up to these 3 brother's. All of these stories that will be told again and again keeping your memory alive forever in this family, amen. They will hear all about my childhood and the factors you over came raising us on your own with little to no shame. You always made me feel wanted no matter what the circumstance. You taught me what kind of mom I need to be and I am truly blessed, now I'm here giving my kids the love you once gave me. If I could say a silent prayer this would be the test; I hope they have your patients and your loving heart. I will be forever greatful If they grow to be even half of what you are.But before I neglect anything else that needs to be recalled they will hear all about my childhood and what you didn't neglect. She raised us on her own with no hesitation or fear. She did what she had to and got her self a career. It's things like that I want my boys to know, a single hard working mother doing things for her own. So listen to me closely, my son's I haven't even began. I guess Ill have to wait until you're a little older for you to really understand. Ill cut it to the chace until you can fully learn to grasp it; your grandma Melanie was one of a kind and she simply can't be described but Ill keep doing my best until I get these words right. So please don't ever look down from your home above us all and wonder to yourself if you have been eternally lost because with each day that you're gone you will forever be in our hearts and knowing you're in heaven makes it a little easier to be apart.
