There has got to be more to life than this.
Truth of the matter, I'm tired of this shit.
We were supposed to go and thrive,
But instead, I barely survive.
My head is filled with doubt and sorrow,
Losing any hope for a better tomorrow.
Darkness creeps in and the fog surrounds,
Starting to think it's better underground.
Sick of the politics, sick of the world,
Sick of the evil that's been unfurled.
What happened to manners?
What happened to love?
When did the magic come undone?
The future seems bleak, save a padded room.
The way we're headed, we're all doomed.
