After all you took
You still look me in the eye and smile?
Even remorse isn't evident on your face
Did I really mean nothing to you?

I took care of your heart 
Neglecting mine
I kept you on a pedestal
And worshipped you

I guess in the end I was the one who emptied my being to you
Showed you my scars and fed you hope when you had nothing

It's time to leave
But I'm torn between holding my breath until you come back or throwing all I had built to run back to you.
