Walk With Grandad Read Count : 187

I liked to walk with grandad,
His pace upbeat and fast.
Even though when walking,
I always ended last.

I liked to walk with grandad,
Through the trees and bush.
Even thought he walked so fast,
He was never in a rush.

I liked to walk with grandad,
Right up Roseberry Topping.
He’d stride right up to the finish,
And I’d always keep on stopping.

I liked to walk with grandad,
Over rivers and muddy paths.
I’d always end up filth,
But always full of laughs.

I liked to walk with grandad,
He’d teach me so much stuff.
He was always so fit and healthy,
But I guess it wasn’t enough.

I liked to walk with grandad,
And see the things he saw.
Now he’s gone i guess,
I’ll walk with him no more.
