The hero in me
I used to be
Like an old fear 
from a younger year
Though no longer near 
Its death by spear
Soaring destruction 
Of unbalanced disruption 
Pierce my skin again
By her love for deception 
Lies claimed as true
The more my heart grew
In a body I knew
Now red, black and blue
It’s time that I see
There’s no hero in me.
