Who Am I? Read Count : 79

I am the lump in your throat when you’re about to cry

I am the last breath you take before you die

I am the hug you give while saying your last goodbye

The feeling of giving up every damn time you try

The cold feeling in your fingers when a warm hand lets go

When you hit all the high-notes but in your heart you know, it’s all for show

The sea-breeze in your hair when you’re walking down the coast

The feeling that can’t be described of losing the one you loved the most

When you’re about to dive into an ocean and your shoulders get tense

When you’re screaming out your feelings but the words don’t make sense

When you’re too scared to choose so you’re precariously perched on a fence

When the sun starts setting and the woods suddenly get dense

All those captivating feelings that you get engulfed in

That is me

A bundle of emotions, waiting to be set free

I drive away people and then cry as they flee

I am more than my being, far from what you see...
