Oh the way her eyes light up,
When she's looking at old junk.
She touches each piece that's caught her eye,
Feeling their textures, feeling their vibes.
And when she smiles, then you know,
That old junk has caught her soul.
As I watch, I stand amazed,
She can sense the memories
She's lost in a daze.
As that smile starts to grow bigger,
You know she's found the thing she's been after.
Like a kid who's filled with glee,
She holds that piece for all to see.
All this joy from a piece of junk,
Watch her smile and her eyes light up.
