We all have secrets we want to conceal
It’s our right to privacy 
There are many reasons not reveal 
That’s how we want it to be

Protection- Embarrasment-Fear or Pride
Are  the main reasons for people to hide
Some may be critical -being deeply concerned or just plain curious 
To a point that could make them furious 

Whatever the reason we choose this action Knowing we may get a severe reaction  
is personal as well
Strengthening our choice not to tell

There may come a time if it hasn’t come yet 
When our rule to some we’re willing to forget 
If we feel they are trusted to keep are secret 
Understanding why we’ve been so descreet And know that our privacy will still be complete

The other reason may be human nature 
This may seem a little immature- but
The inner pressure can become too strong
We have to tell someone-right or wrong
 
Another issue in life’s jigsaw puzzle 
Working hard to get all the pieces to fit 
Another dellemma that has to be solved
To get other people seriously involved

To all of us who face that task 
To ourselves this question we ask
“ There so much effort in trying to hide -do I trust someone to help me decide ?”

By taking that chance with a person you trust 
Would you have to explain what is hidden
 By  holding back for protection  
You have to make the best selection

What in this quandary is priority
You ponder as long as you can
It would do you no good if you ran
So in the end its still up to you 
What in the world would you do?
