What would I do if I had the chance?
Well, my dear, I believe we would dance.
Underneath a harvest moon,
Hoping the night doesn't end too soon.
We'd sit beside that warm campfire,
Have a drink and talk for hours.
Head out to the field to stare at the stars,
Ponder their distance, so infinitely far.
Look so deeply into those eyes,
As you watch the moon continue to rise.
Curl up on the hay, just inside the barn,
Hold you tight and keep you warm.
The morning will be coming soon,
But for now, I'm thankful for a dance under
That harvest moon.
