I have come out of the ashes of despair 
Pulling myself up hand over hand
To once again breath the fresh air of life 

This is not my first journey 
But I’ve learned a valuable lesson 
We all have the capacity to overcome 

Unless we are content
To wallow in the depths of depression 
We all have hidden strength and will

It’s a matter of believing in yourself 
Rather than believing In the tongues of the 
disbelievers
And the destructive voices in our mind 

We all can rise and rise again
