The fear of change, of letting go,
Fear to give up all that I've known.
Fear of failing when I try,
Fear of having to say goodbye.
Fear of becoming the monster inside, 
Fear of the day that I will die.
All this fear gripping my mind,
I can't move forward, I can't find a sign.
Confidence destroyed 
over decisions second guessed,
Question myself, my head is a mess.
Fear of what might come,
Fear of coming undone.
Points of my life I've been brave,
Now I'm in a cycle of being afraid.
