From prying eyes I hide, Deep in shadow I abide. Worries of this world weigh me down. Where once had been a smile, Now only appears a frown. Once I wore a dreamer’s heart, Upon my worldly sleeve. Now broken, shattered apart. For all the world to see. Hidden within deep shadow, You will find, A pool of tears. That is mine. From prying eyes I hide. Deep in shadow I abide.
