“My pain is worse than yours “
Some people say It-some people think it
Any pain is a reason to complain 
That is a normal refrain 

What can change an innocent - friendly 
talk to a heated conversation 
Is when one compares their pain with yours like it was a big sensation 

Pain of any kind of pain Is a personal affliction 
Some use it as a status sign
Which can increase the friction 

To most everyone one their pain is real  
They’re not putting on a show 
There’s a basic concept universally 
accepted-
“THE WORSy PAIN YOU FEEL 
IS The WORST PAIN YOU KNOW”
 
As long as people recognize this truth 
They can remain connected 
If one continues the comparisons 
It has to be rejected 

I cannot feel the pain you have 
And you cannot feel mine
We  can sympathize and empathize 
But this  factor’s by design 

If we could feel the others pain and have to deal with ours
So much hurt would still remain 
We would constantly see pain-stars

If you follow these guidelines 
And inform who’s involved  
Instead of sitting on the sidelines 
This issue can be resolved
