Drops pitter-patter on the ceiling, with a drip of water in a bucket

There I lay, waiting for it to become clear again

This lasts eternity

I look outside and see nothing but grey with only a flash

I think about how I want the light to touch me

It rumbles

The grey blew out my light

I stand where it is black

Waiting

And waiting

For my light to come back
