It all started in an exam hall. The hall was so quiet and no noise could be heard.

She was made to sit beside him. She never knew who she was and neither he does.

When she turned to look at him, all she could see was, he was sitting quietly with his exam sheet without any progress in writing. She was confused first, but when she looked closer at him, she realized that he didn’t have any pen. What?

A boy in an exam hall without a pen, that was awesome, indeed for her. She has never seen such a guy before.

He slowly turned towards her. She couldn’t contain her excitement, so she turned away.

He: Do you have an extra pen? If so, could you please lend me one?

She searched her pouch, bag… No, she doesn’t have any other than the one she was using. She cursed her fate, she even felt like giving the one she had in hand.

She (thought): what a strange feeling I have towards this guy! I have just seen him. But it seems I am connected to him eternally.

All these thoughts just ran for a few seconds in her mind. She couldn’t say no to him definitely. So she turned back, asked a pen to the girl of her class, on his behalf. She thought, yes, again it’s a weird thing to do, but I can’t help it. She knew that she cannot stand the sight of him talking to another girl, even just for lending a pen.

She: please take this.

He: Thanks.

She thought that he hasn’t even noticed her attraction towards him. She felt embarrassed but couldn’t avoid feeling something towards that boy sitting next to her.

She coined him, a name. She thought she would call him ‘pen friend’ as she doesn’t know his name.
