I still wake up at night

And reach for you, but your not there

When the morning light shines in the

 window and its time to get up and start

 the day, there is a sobering realization that

 Im alone

I struggle with feelings of missing you

And wonder what that says about me

I am left with the scars of you

Defeat, no self esteem and no worth

Im different now, Ive changed and I 

Dont know who this person I'm left with is

What I do know is 

Ann is dead and from that Annie was born
