Help is a two way street 
When one reaches out to receive 
And a hand reaches back to retrieve 
The connection is complete 

If support is first offered 
And the victim does not respond 
There’s very little one can do
To seal a helping bond 

Most assuredly if help is asked for 
Someone out there eager to aid
Will open the door 
For that helping bond made
