WORLD TOUR

I'm dreaming of a world tour, 
Travel the globe, can't resist the allure.
Down Route 66 stopping at a few spots,
Places along the road that time forgot.
Cruise on up the Pacific Coast Highway, 
Across the seas to Hawaii. 
Pay my respects at Pearl Harbor, 
To all those brave sons and daughters. 
Take a flight in the evening, 
Land in Phu Ket, Philippines. 
Splash around in waters so blue,
Just one of the things I want to do.
Then it's off again to Kuala Lumpur, 
See the sights and some friends I adore.
Up to China to walk the Great Wall.
I didn't think it was really this tall.
Then hop down to India, and meet some good friends at the Taj Mahal.
South to the Maldives where I can chill.
Water so clear, it's quite a thrill.
Up to Egypt and the Great Pyramids, 
Athens, Rome, and Switzerland. 
Make a stop in Paris, France, 
Atop the Eiffel Tower I shall dance.
Short stop at Normandy to see the beach
Where the world was freed.
On to London, that British delight.
Big Ben and Buckingham are quite a sight.
Across the pond to New York City,
Times Square, Wall Street, 
and the Empire State building. 
Down the East Coast to Daytona Beach, 
Miami, and the Keys.
Spend some time on a Jamaican beach
Before heading over to Belize.
Enjoying the trip, around the world I roam,
But my final stop, will be back home.
