For some of our membersEveryday is HalloweenThey ready themselves for their day’s agendaWith the emotional costume they use aspretendersTheir makeup may be a smileA laugh expressing frivolityThey have many to choose anyWhatever it takes to hide their realityIt can work for awhile as camouflage doesBut pain still exists beneath those role-playing “duds”Eventually the mask will have to be removedTo hide for a lifetime this act can’t improveYou can hide from all othersIn your creative waysBut with the door closed behind youat the end of the dayYou can’t hide yourself and have a good life to liveA familiar phrase is the answer-“Something Got To Give”
