For some of our members
Everyday is Halloween
They ready themselves for their day’s agenda
With  the emotional costume they use as
pretenders

Their makeup may be a smile
A laugh expressing frivolity
They have many to choose any
Whatever it takes to hide their reality

It can work for awhile as camouflage does
But pain still exists beneath those role-playing “duds”
Eventually the mask will have to be removed
To hide for a lifetime this act can’t improve

You can hide from all others
In your creative ways
But with the door closed behind you
at the end of the day
You can’t hide yourself and have a good life to live
A familiar phrase is the answer-
“Something Got To Give”
