Which way to turn 
When you’re confronted with decisions 
Whatever you decide 
The result can’t be precision

When dealing with others
No matter the relationship 
There are so many variables 
Much like an unknown trip

These three elements 
Will always come in play
Which is the priority 
Only you can say 

Choosing one or two
May be very hard to do
Choosing all the three 
Is an impossibility 

So now you must surmise 
When pondering what to do
Each choice  - a compromise 
Which is best for you

The threat of pain to others
Or merely disappointment 
Can influence your choice 
Of the message to be sent

No matter what element you skurt
Someone surely will be hurt
These predicaments are not fun-
Which is best in the long run ?

When venturing into relationships 
Or involved with family 
It’s important to have a handle 
On what was meant to be

It’s vital to understand this 
Before the issues rise 
To deal with them as best you can
To avoid the bad surprise
