a Man I saw a man standing haggard and worn, His clothes draping his meager frame ripped and torn. His hands shaking against Mother Nature’s cruel north winds. Standing afar I watched him for an unknown time. As if by magic I blinked and he was gone, Or had he ever really been there? But I saw a man haggard and worn, standing against the cruel world. Hands weary and shaken, Weary and tired I saw a man standing by a fire… Was he ever really there, or had he become a symbol of how man’s complacent? Yes, I was sure as I am alive I saw a man by the fire…
