The smiling sun has frown - darkness has taken a seatThe singing birds now bleatFor this remnants we see on our streetsAre symbols of the reward of the emergence. That which came with a veil of peaceThat which sneaked through our borders with protocols.Through the darks they fired our color - our lightIn this same nightThey murdered our feet with bulletsFrom Guns and cutlassesThe herbs that once pampered our lipsAre now talismans on our hipsFor this powders from guns soiled our humilityAnd engraved our generosity - with a vowA vow sealed with the blood of innocenceThe man you see now arose from the deeds of gunpowdersAnd stood tall among the peace foundersTo rob the pieces of peace leftPeace is put to rest by the emergenceOf this powders of gun.Behold, they introduced a MichaelBut a Lucifer in disguise~ Gunpowder: the irony of world peace© Adatsi BrownsonGhana
