From writing about death to release 
express and share 
And a way to catch my breath 
When facing deep despair 

What then evolved in time
As the healing process grew
As life began to normalize 
I added writings new

Writing became a part of me 
Without a conscious plan
It’s with me almost constantly 
And changed part of who I am

I’m more contented writing 
At times I think in poetry
The phenomenon’s exciting 
I never dreamt would be

Discovering while reading
Is an adventure to behold 
The styles the content the structure 
Is like finding written gold

I’ve tried all different methods
To feel what’s best for me
I came to the conclusion 
The one you’ll mostly see

For me expressing is number one 
And then to relieve the stress 
But the one pure satisfaction 
Always bringing happiness 

A personal creativity to simply 
take the words 
And bring them to life in my own way 
In subjects- some absurd 

I’ll go in different directions 
And then you will see
How an alphabetic collection 
Becomes a  literally erection

Silly ? you don’t have to read it
Sometimes I really need it 
Written just for me 
Plain and personal -creativity
