If you feel no one cares 
I don’t blame you for the tears
When there’s no one you can turn too
You need someone to support you

If there’s just one you can trust
And you call that one “friend “
Sharing feelings is a must 
To avert a bitter end

Perhaps I’m  being naive 
But if it’s your concerns she’s willing to receive 
So some quality you may retrieve 
Wouldn’t it be worthwhile 
To help restore your smile 

She may be the only one 
But when all is said and done 
A friend who’s  young or old
Is worth it’s weight in gold
