Life Is But A River

Life is but a river,
Flowing for a time.
Currents and eddys,
Swirl with the flow.
The Rapids come
At different points,
when life is seeming rough.
And every so often,
A waterfall makes it drop.
It curves and bends,
Slowly cutting it's path.
Many areas so calm
So peaceful as it slowly passes by.
And it makes its way to the ocean,
Where it meets it's end.
Becoming one with the sea,
Forever there, it will be.
