There are times when words fly like birds high in the sky -over your head and have no meaning
People eager to help with intention pure 
believe their words will cure
There are issues experienced that thoughtless- well intentioned words can inflame
And curiously the victim takes the blame
 There are other ways to help an aching 
heart or damaged soul 
A hug a kiss a simple phrase (“I’m here for you if you need me”) or  a hug alone 
Can soothe the tone 
Understanding the victim’s pain
With silent contact is a better refrain 
 Sensitivity is the way to go
You’re there to show you care
Not to boost your ego
