The record has hit the wall. I scream, my voice echoing through these old, hallowed halls. Amanda, my soon to be ex-friend, has thrown my only copy of The Drowsy Chaperone that took me years of gruesome  searching the web for. I had finally found a diamond edition for $44.99. It was a steal, so naturally, I, being a huge comedy fan, bought it. And now it was dust and pieces on the ground, too broken to be replaced, too memorable to throw away. As I scream for her to get out, she takes her high heel and crunches the remaining pieces on her way out. 
When I crumple to the floor, sobbing, I think back to when we were little kids playing on the playground. We were such good friends then. Everything has changed...
