Penance Of The Fool Read Count : 66

From highest high to lowest low

Jumbled thoughts when my eyes are closed.

The witch's lust is pulling me in,

A dead man's touch relieves me of my sin.

Who to trust when you feel so alone?

Where to turn when you're in your own home?

The man in the mirror is a pudgy old liar,

Telling me I can have whatever I desire.

Foolish I was to let them in,

Singing the song of the Sirens.

Sinking fast, drowning slow,

Darkness surrounds as it ebbs and flows.

Mortally wounded by spiritual decline,

Deathly Hallows seem only sublime.

I could go on about the cost,

But you never know when the spirit is lost.
