As above, so below

No one tree can grow

With heaven as its home

Unless its roots reach down

to a hellish underground

The brighter the light within me

The darker my soul you can see

It's my past life I can never forsake

When my light burns out, I'm driven by hate

In dark times, I need always hold dear

The light within that shines bright and clear

For deep down I know

How the old saying goes

As above, so below

The deeper my roots go

The higher my limbs grow.
