Emptiness  from within 
Deep feelings all alone 
Dozens of people to talk too
In person or by telephone 

Regardless of the number 
Regardless of the time 
The sadness overwhelming 
Like a funeralchurch bell chime

How one can fall so deep 
Into feeling so abandoned 
As if the fates have said 
“You shall live life emotionally branded

A heartbreaking condition 
So tragically to solve 
Help comes with groups or trusted 
friends  
That have to get involved

It has to be so painful 
 For this hurt and lonely  soul 
Surviving each dark empty day
Yearning for a happiness goal 

There are many tragic stories told
Similar to this
As help and effort do unfold 
That heart may soon find bliss
