They’ve been with us since our creation
In every land and every nation
The guardian of our soul
Is their difficult major role 
                      ***
He’s always with me day and night 
He doesn’t hide but’s out of sight
Stands behind me- wrong or right 
Has my back if there’s a fight 

I’ve known him well since I was born
He healed my heart when it was torn
To him- I’ll never say goodbye 
He’s with me till the day I die 

His gift to me is being together 
Through sunny days and stormy weather 
He’s the first one there to care for me
That caretaker is plain to see
That caretaker is really -ME
