If you decide to stay And you know it doesn’t pay 
              Blame Yourself 
If you hurt the one you love
With no apology to follow 
               Blame Yourself 
If you break a sacred trust 
Because you felt you must
                Blame Yourself 
When you cheated and you lied
And you think your justified 
                Blame Yourself 
When you say you did not know 
To cover a bad show 
                 Blame Yourself 
 If you breaking all the rules 
Because you think they all are fools
                 Blame Yourself 

If with this you don’t agree
And you feel it’s only history 
That the others are to blame  
For they caused you to give pain
Is it what they did to you
Just caused you react 
If you check your own reality
Would you take those actions back

It's good to really look within every once in awhile to really see and acknowledge what's what. Often we find external things to put the blame on but sometimes, the fault is a lot closer to home. It is through mistakes that we learn to grow and though those lessons may sometimes be hard to swallow, they are necessary to slap us wide awake. Thank you for writing this thought provoking piece. Another outstanding piece of art. 💜
