When you’re reaching out for help
You have to want to help yourself 
Talking or writing are fine 
It can ease the stress for a time 

If your goal is really real
And you’re sincere with your appeal
It’s quite much more than words 
For those who care have heard 

You have to make first move
It’s important that you prove
That you’re ready to began
A change from deep within 

A major life transition 
Is difficult decision
You have to go back very far
And bring up many scars

The pain- you’ll really feel it
As you continue to reveal it
You have to stay committed 
With help you must admit it

With others whom you trust
You can chip away the rust
Of your painful issues plight 
You can start to see the light 

You will travel through a maze
Of many troubled days 
And in the end it’s worth it 
You can be happy and assertive 

This is not a game 
The result won’t bring you fame
But the quality will start 
When you lit that courageous spark
