Depression is like a poison that takes virtually nothing to kill you. It out of no where creeps in to the mind. It is like a snakes venom darting through you and quickly corrupting the very essence of happiness. When it finds any random shred of light It is instantly surrounds it and crushed it with an overwhelming weight of darkness that crushes you faster than the shred appeared. This is not something that goes away. It builds up to the breaking point every day is a question of will I survive or not? It can be a struggle to even leave the house even to just leave my bed. As crazy as this sounds. Depression is debilitating and can keep you from the wonders of life. Just as quickly as the storm appears the light can soon follow. The journey is hard and treacherous, but pays off in the end. Life can be great.
