Love and Hate Sometimes hard to separate 
They are both extremes 
And can trigger different screams

They can be emotionally charged 
With issues small and large 
Both are at times confusing 
Don’t know if you’re winning or losing 

Hate can be like a disease 
It can makes a warm heart freeze 
A terrible-destructive emotion
That runs deeper than any huge ocean 

Love is a precious - desired need
That sometimes can turn into greed
If expressed with great feelings of care
It’s the ultimate “breath of fresh air”

With both you may walk a thin line
An emotional mountain to climb
To reach the peak of contentment 
Or to fall to the depths of resentment 

You have to be ready to face
The love that you wish to embrace 
For both both really come a cost
Love is a win-with Hate you are lost

In traveling the road of relationships 
Choose wisely while you’re on this trip 
It  can make your life worth living 
With Love receiving and gladly giving
