If he’s gone and you can’t carry on
You plead and write with all your might
To no avail you feel you’ve failed
So where do you go from here
For you may shed many a tear 
After your plea do you wait and sea
If there’s a change of heart 
You never thought it would end this way 
It was great right from the start 
Maybe the breakup won’t last too long
Perhaps he felt he was wrong 
How long do you keep your life on hold 
Facing the unknown from something 
turned cold
Life goes on as you’re in a mire
Frustration builds from your lost desire The waiting and anticipation gets tougher and tougher 
While living this way gets rougher and
rougher
There’s a world out there just waiting for you
Isn’t it time to change your point of view 
You really deserve a much better chance 
To be happy- even joyful and find romance
