An Invitation?
In class, there's nothing important. But if you want to know what I learned.
Just a history of myths that actually true to me.
We talked about the myths that come from other countries and how it based on cultures. Blah, blah, blah!
Honestly, I don't understand why we should learn myths if we must to waste year time for education.
However, I must admit it. I kinda want to know what they think about myths. Or Mrs. Meeks changed some.
And also, why I keep talking about class?!
Kai: Yoko-san?
I snapped out of my thoughts.
Me: Didn't I told you to stay quiet?
I whispered sharply.
Kai opened then closed his mouth. I rolled my eyes.
Someone: Yo Ko!
The familiar voice cried out, stopped me immediately. I turned around to see who called my name.
Oroka Patrick: Hello, Yo Ko!
He jogged toward me. I want to walk away. But my legs did not let me.
I gave up.
Me: Yoko, close enough.
Patrick slows down so he doesn't cross my personal space.
Oroka Patrick: Come on, I been practicing to pronounce your name in the whole class. And I deserve what you just give me?
My heart sank a little. What this feeling?
Me: Whatever, what do you want for this time?
Patrick looked at me with smile face.
Oroka Patrick: I actually want to invite you to join me and my friends for lunch.
For the first time in a long time, I jumped little and made eye contact with Patrick immediately.
