Our bodies fight for us, against us, and with us all the time

Bodies remind me of people

People, like our bodies, can be our best friend or worst enemy

I have seen first hand how someone's body has failed them in the same way that a relationship has failed them

I have seen someone's body fight against them in the same way that their enemies fought against them

Though the emotional rollercoaster of our bodies can take a toll on us all

The body is temporary

Our spirit will live on forever

However you spin it, whether you believe in heaven or the universe or any type of after life

Our spirits will always be here

Long after our bodies and the people we thought loved us completely give up, Our spirit will live on 

And that is all that matters when it is all said and done

When you are no longer having a human experience

Will you be at peace with your spirit?
