A real relationship has many factors
It’s not a performance for many actors 
It is serious and vital 
It is not a meaningless title 

When your embark on your new-found
goal
You’re committed to be there for each 
other
It is a commitment of the soul
For a lifetime or while you’re together 

Youru there for each other to share the joy
You’re supporting each other through 
Sorrow 
It is a sacred vow entrusted to both
A fervent pledge you cannot borrow

If one is hurt you’re right there 
To help keep them safe and protected
You soften the pain inflicted by those 
And with all your power have them rejected 

If one of your friends has inflicted the pain
And you continue that friendship connection 
You a damage the person you love very 
much 
The damage that’s done from a relationship won could result in a double rejection 

If you’re not ready to give sacrifice 
You may want tothink this plan through 
A long term commitment 
must be part of the action
Of the result may cause a dim view
